Transcripts

New: digital transcripts for current students

During the 2026-27 academic year, Birkbeck is introducing digital transcripts for current students and new graduates through Gradintelligence. The service will give eligible students secure online access to your transcript, including interim transcripts, and allow you to share it electronically with employers, universities and other organisations.

We will contact eligible students with information about how to activate your Gradintelligence account and access your transcript.

Alumni who graduated in 2012 or later

  • If you need additional or paper copies of your transcript (for example, if you are applying for further study at another university), you still need to submit a Transcript Request via My Birkbeck and pay for each copy (you can pay by credit or debit card). Once we receive payment, we will process your request.
  • The document will be stamped, signed, dated and, on request, may be sealed within an official envelope.
  • In future, alumni and graduates will also be able to access their transcript electronically via Gradintelligence and will be contacted with information about how to activate your Gradintelligence account.

Alumni who graduated prior to 2012

Alumni who graduated prior to 2012 will not use the Gradintelligence service, but will continue to be able to request transcripts directly from Birkbeck using the existing system.
