January-start courses

Birkbeck offers a range of postgraduate courses that are available to start in January 2027.

Most courses take place in the evening, meaning your days are free to work, study or meet other commitments. We also offer a number of flexible master's, providing you with the option to study online, on campus or a combination of the two.

Our next on-campus open event for January 2027 starts is our Postgraduate Open Evening on 11 November.

International students

If you are an international student, please read our application guidelines before applying. To allow enough time for visa processing, please ensure you apply by the relevant deadline for January 2027 entry.

Please note that international students who require a Student visa to study in the UK can only study full-time, on campus.
