• Assessment: a 45-minute in-class multiple-choice and short-answer test (30%), laboratory exercise (30%) and one-hour in-class test (40%)

Module description

The second chemistry module focuses on:

• redox
• concentrations
• volumetric analysis. 

Applying concepts you have been introduced to in Part 1, you will use experiments to calculate gas volumes and practise titrations in the laboratory. You will also learn about enthalpy, acids and bases, as well as reactions such as oxidation and reduction.
