• Assessment: two in-class exercises (30% each) and a one-hour 15-minute in-class test (40%)

Module description

This is the first of three sequential biology modules, providing you with an exciting introduction to the basis of life. You will gain a foundation in cell biology and learn about:

• biomolecules
• diversity
• how to use a microscope.

You will also be taught essential study skills, which will help your progress in Parts 2 and 3.
